Remove "Ads by JumboDeals" Adware (Uninstall Guide)

If you've found JumboDeals adware on your computer but are still not entirely sure what it is, what it does, and whether or not it can cause you any problems, I hope that by the time you have finished reading this you will not be quite so in the dark!

You are probably familiar with those annoying "Ads by JumboDeals" adverts and pop-up windows that are advertising dubious looking websites, goods or services that you have absolutely no intention of clicking on or visiting. Well this is adware, or advertising supported software at its worst.

If you've been infected by JumboDeals adware then you will be treated to an never ending circus of these ads by JumboDeals and pop ups – and no matter how many times you click on them to make them go away, they will simply spring back up without a care in the world. And certainly without caring that by now you are tearing your hair out in frustration!

A little more about JumboDeals adware

To explain what is, it helps if you know its full name; advertising supported software. At its core, this is a software program that has been designed to display or download adverts, in this case ads by JumboDeals, on your screen when you're connected to the internet.

But adware is often more than just an annoyance as it normally contains a spyware component. And, as the name suggests, this is not something that should be taken lightly if you have an infection. It is true that adware is a type of malware or malicious software but spyware can actually do a lot more harm to your computer than merely show you adverts.

As you have probably surmised from the name, spyware is something which watches you remotely, monitoring your computer usage, checking out which websites you are visiting, taking note of the products or services and the pages that you look at within those sites – and sometimes, when it is a really virulent program - logging your keystrokes so it knows what you are typing.

Clearly a third party being privy to your private data such as your passwords, log-ins and credit card details is scary enough. However we can understand why an unscrupulous third party would want to get their hands on those. But why would this person also want to know which websites you are browsing? Pretty boring right?

Advertising supported software AKA the money spinner

It might surprise you to know that in actual fact, simply by knowing where you are and what you are doing online – even if it is something as innocent as 'window' shopping can translate into big bucks for the people that create or use JumboDeals adware. And that's because when the programmer knows which products you appear to be interested in, he is able to customize the JumboDeals adverts that you see to match those interests.

And it doesn't take a marketing guru to work out that when you're being exposed to adverts promoting products you have already expressed interest in, chances are that an adware programmer is going to make some money when you prove his tactics a success and click through to the host website.

As if a relentless bombardment of pop-up windows wasn't annoying enough, and is if having an unknown third party track your every move wasn't invasive enough, it also slows your computer and internet connection right down. Still not enough to get upset about? How about the fact that it can destabilize your system and leave you wide open to attack by even more malware? I think you will agree with me that it's time to get rid of it. To remove adware from your computer and stop JumboDeals ads, please follow the steps in the removal guide below. If you have any questions, please leave a comment down below. Good luck and be safe online!
